World Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2008
Congratulations to the Gracie Humaita Competition team. The RGDA Association is proud to be an integral part of the Gracie Humaita team.
Gracie Humaita is the Original Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy from Rio De Janeiro Brazil, created and developed by Grand Master Helio Gracie and carried foward by his sons including Professor Royler Gracie.
The Gracie Humaita Men's Team took Second Place and for the second year in a row the Women's Team took First Place.
Congratulations to RGDA HQ competitors Casey O'Brien and Angelica Tabor. Casey won the Gold medal in the Blue Belt Female Middle Weight Division and Angelica brought home the Bronze in the Brown/Black Female Light Weight Division.

"Chaos at the Abyss" - New Breed Fighters MMA Amateur League
Our fighter, Allen Cozze took on Dave Duncan, from KTM, in a very exciting match. The three round battle was a great display of take downs, submission attempts and ground control by Cozze. This win makes Allen Cozze's record 2-1.
We would like to congratulate Allen on his victory and thank all those who have been trainning and supporting our NHB Team. Special thanks to those who came to watch the event live.

Professor Adiv Law Enforcement Training.
Professor David Adiv has been working with various Law Enforcement Agencies on the Federal, State and local levels. He has been training both entire Swat teams and small groups of Law Enforcement Officers.

Professor's David Adiv and Royler Gracie are now endorsing the Fighter Zone Apparal line and of course the Fuji Fighter Zone RGDA Gi.

There are currently 5 Shirt designs to choose from with more on the way and the Fighter Zone Gi will soon come with the fighterzone patch also.
Professor Gracie and Adiv both feel this is a great Gi for a reasonable price and all of our Instructors and students are raving about the Gi and the FighterZone shirts.

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu New Jersey Academy seminar for the Hunterdon County SWAT Team -
As part of the commitment in helping our community, professor David Adiv, on 02/27/08 held the first seminar for the Hunterdon County SWAT Team. This first seminar was the kick off for the training program that will be developed with the team for the next few months.
The RGDA - Gracie New Jersey Academy works with Military Personnel, Federal Agents and Law Enforcement Officials in instructing them on their safety on the job and their ability to perform with assertiveness.
Our program developed specifically for Law Enforcement Agents and Military Personnel consists of three main categories:
1) Breathing regulation, panic management and body maneuverability
2) Technique and Body Mechanics
3) Tactics Application
